Job Title: Plant Operations Manager Italy

CHEP is a global leader in the supply chain and logistics industry, with a presence in over 55 countries and a network of 300 million pallets, crates, and containers. We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead our operations in Italy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the network of subcontracted service centers, on-site solutions, and outstores/hubs in Italy
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate the start-up and ramp-up of new plants, on-site solutions, and outstores
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of projects such as informational technology and engineering, as well as continuous improvement (lean) to support improvement programs in capacity, productivity & cost, quality, and service
  • Negotiate tariffs with subcontractors, monitor budgets, and optimize costs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, internal supply chain departments, commercial business units, and other departments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Logistics, or Technical Engineering
  • 5-7 years of experience in management, subcontractor management, or site management
  • Fluent/native Italian and English
  • Strong experience in Lean and continuous improvement
