Position Overview
GRS Recruitment is representing a well-established entity in the Financial Sector, seeking a qualified Director of Legal to enhance their operations. The ideal candidate must be a licensed attorney (member of the Cyprus Bar Association) with a minimum of five years in a leadership role. This position entails fostering new partnerships and exploring business development opportunities with international partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture relationships with overseas law firms and financial institutions for referral opportunities.
  • Lead the marketing and sales initiatives of the firm, which may involve international travel for business development.
  • Oversee the complete business development and sales process.
  • Accountable for meeting sales targets for designated products, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Manage a team of legal professionals, client relationship managers, and administrative personnel.
  • Participate in local and international conferences and seminars, staying informed on industry developments.
  • Identify and relay product opportunities, sales prospects, and suggestions for improvement to the Board.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Qualified lawyer in Cyprus with substantial experience in Corporate/Commercial Law.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth.
  • At least five years of experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in both Greek and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
