About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketplace Growth Specialist to join our Amazon EU team. As a key member of our Strategic Account Services (SAS) program, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and revenue for our Selling Partners on Amazon's EU Marketplace.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and articulate compelling value propositions around our Paid Service programs to attract and engage with prospective Selling Partners.
  2. Identify, qualify, and engage with key influencers and decision-makers within prospective accounts to build long-term relationships and drive sales growth.
  3. Manage a portfolio of Selling Partners concurrently and strategically to drive sustainable growth, based on a strong understanding of marketplace programs, tools, and processes.
  4. Analyze customer data and make recommendations to maximize the potential of assigned Selling Partners.
  5. Implement and track metrics to record the success and quality of sellers in your portfolio, using these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
  6. Understand and utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track all pertinent account information and sales progress.
  7. Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for assigned portfolio.
  8. Develop a thorough understanding of the Amazon Marketplace 3rd party services industry and competitive environment, including knowledge of competing product offerings.
  9. Manage additional projects around our newly launched Paid Service, such as process, tool, and content development, competitive analysis, and sales analysis as needed.
Requirements
  1. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  2. 1-2 years of consultancy, sales, or account management experience in E-Commerce, retail technology, SaaS, or software.
  3. Fluency in Dutch and English (at least C1 level in both languages).
  4. Strong analytical skills including Microsoft Excel.
  5. Proven ability to successfully influence at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
  6. Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
  7. A passion for developing an engaging customer user experience with demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.
  8. Superior communication and presentation skills.
  9. Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience of business-to-business selling.
  2. Ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment, chasing down and following up on dependencies, mitigating risks, and escalating when necessary.
  3. High attention to detail and the management of multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  4. Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others.
  5. Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  6. Creative, has initiative, and can constructively advocate on behalf of the customer.
