Job Summary

EUSA Pharma is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Packaging Group Purchasing team in Milan. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating sourcing and procurement activities related to packaging materials and artworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate strategic sourcing initiatives for packaging materials, aligning with global procurement guidelines.
  • Manage the sourcing process, vendor negotiations, and supplier performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align activities and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes and procedures.
  • Support financial planning and budget management related to packaging spend.
  • Monitor market trends and industry best practices to optimize procurement strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Support new product introduction projects and vendor management activities.
  • Collaborate with the Artworks Coordinator and IT to integrate the Artwork Portal tool with the company's management systems/platforms.
Requirements
  • University degree with relevant experience required.
  • Experience in procurement and negotiation of packaging materials.
  • Proven track record in achieving cost reductions through effective sourcing strategies.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint), ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Knowledge of Artworks management platform is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the manufacturing or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Experience in managing packaging procurement projects.
  • Knowledge of artwork management flows is considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an international and cross-functional environment.
Language Requirements

Native level Italian both written and spoken, and fluent English.
