Position Overview
The role of IT Support Specialist involves providing essential on-site and remote technical assistance to end users. This includes managing incoming service inquiries, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and documenting resolutions within a ticketing system. The position plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our IT policies and managing the lifecycle of our technology assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prompt and effective technical support for software and hardware inquiries within the organization.
  • Utilize a ticketing system to log incidents and service requests, adhering to established procedures for incident management.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues related to hardware, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, network connectivity, and Virtual Desktop technologies.
  • Execute installations, upgrades, and project activities as required, ensuring satisfaction among all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the IT Knowledge Base by submitting process documentation and user guides to enhance self-service capabilities.
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders and IT management regarding service availability and disruptions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support.
  • In-depth knowledge of desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity.
  • Experience providing IT support to executives and senior management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows Desktop OS, Active Directory, Network Essentials, SCCM, and Office 2016.
  • Solid skills in troubleshooting and configuring mobile devices (iOS and Android).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office productivity tools.
  • Basic experience with audio and video conferencing technologies.
  • Familiarity with service desk applications and their operations.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, along with strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
