Job Overview

BCS Automotive Interface Solutions, a leader in automotive innovation with a legacy spanning 70 years, is dedicated to providing advanced system solutions for vehicle interior systems. We are seeking a skilled Change and Launch Coordinator to drive our projects forward in the following key areas:

  • Project Planning: Develops comprehensive timelines for new project implementations aligned with customer deadlines and BCS objectives. Acts as a liaison between Project Management, global functions, and manufacturing sites for assigned projects, while assembling internal project teams with members designated by department managers.
  • Project Execution: Coordinates activities within the manufacturing facility, ensuring all departments are informed and prepared for their tasks. Proactively addresses any issues that arise during the project lifecycle and organizes customer visits during project launches.
  • Project Monitoring: Generates detailed reports on project status for management, identifies potential risks from delayed tasks, and implements corrective measures. Ensures adherence to deadlines and adjusts project plans as necessary to guarantee successful outcomes.
  • Change Coordination: Manages changes within assigned projects from a manufacturing perspective, creating timelines for the execution of changes (designs, new variants, replacements) in accordance with customer deadlines and BCS goals. Oversees activities related to change management and is responsible for material flow to and from stock.
  • Change Status Tracking: Ensures that changes are implemented with minimal waste and takes systematic measures to reduce scrap. Responsible for ensuring timely invoicing of scrap to the appropriate parties and escalating any imminent delays while adjusting plans to meet changing needs.
  • Sample Production Organization: Oversees the production of designated samples, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and material preparation. Maintains accurate records of produced samples and addresses any issues related to interdepartmental coordination, while participating in regular reviews of samples with the logistics team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Proficient in English
  • Demonstrated leadership in project team settings
  • Strong organizational and delegation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Capacity to handle stress effectively
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Program or Project Manager
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Background in the Automotive Industry is a plus
