Job Overview

BCS Automotive Interface Solutions is a leader in the automotive sector, boasting a legacy of over 70 years in delivering innovative solutions for vehicle interior systems. Our global presence spans North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, with a dedicated workforce of over 3,000 employees committed to shaping the future of automotive technology.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Change and Launch Coordinator to drive our projects forward in the following key areas:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive timelines for new project implementations, aligning customer deadlines with BCS objectives. Act as a liaison between Project Management, global teams, and manufacturing sites for assigned projects, and assemble internal project teams with representatives from relevant departments.
  • Project Execution: Oversee activities within the manufacturing facility, ensuring all departments are informed and prepared for their responsibilities. Address any issues that arise promptly and organize customer visits during project launches.
  • Project Monitoring: Generate status reports for management, proactively identifying risks associated with delayed tasks and implementing corrective actions. Ensure adherence to deadlines and adjust project plans as necessary to guarantee successful outcomes.
  • Change Coordination: Manage changes within assigned projects from a manufacturing perspective, creating timelines for the implementation of changes (design modifications, new variants, etc.) in accordance with customer and BCS deadlines. Facilitate activities related to change management and oversee material flow to and from stock.
  • Change Tracking: Ensure that changes are executed with minimal waste, implementing measures to reduce scrap. Monitor deadlines and escalate potential delays, adjusting plans to meet evolving needs for successful change implementation.
  • Sample Production Management: Oversee the organization of sample production in line with internal protocols and requests. Ensure material readiness for sample creation, maintain accurate records of produced samples, and address any coordination challenges with other departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Proficient in English
  • Demonstrated leadership in project team settings
  • Strong organizational and delegation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Resilience under pressure
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Program or Project Management
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Background in the Automotive Industry is a plus
