About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our team at Indie Campers in Ferno, Milan. As a key member of our depot, you'll be responsible for ensuring the exceptional maintenance and upkeep of our fleet of campervans, working closely with our Operations Manager to deliver outstanding service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance procedures according to OEM guidelines, ensuring our vehicles are always in top condition.
- Support the management of all Milan-based fleet activities, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to optimize fleet downtime and costs.
- Monitor fleet availability, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Review and address fleet damages, implementing procedures to minimize future occurrences.
- Work closely with our Customer Excellence team to resolve on-road issues and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure all vehicles receive timely and optimized interventions, keeping our HQ Fleet team informed of any developments.
- Maintain high standards in all fleet-related procedures, upholding our commitment to excellence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1-year experience in vehicle maintenance or repair, preferably in a Rent-a-Car or Automotive Repair Shop environment.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
