We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our Materials Characterization team at Mettler Toledo. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling our comprehensive portfolio of MatChar instruments, powerful software, and a wide selection of accessories and crucibles to research and quality control labs.
Key Responsibilities- Build Long-Term Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through on-site visits and online meetings.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Analyze and understand customer needs, supported by our Product Management team.
- Offer Development: Monitor and finalize economical offers to meet customer needs.
- Active Follow-Up: Make proactive follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
- Opportunity Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a long-term opportunity pipeline to drive sales growth.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers' R&D and QC departments to develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Chemical, or Physics.
- Experience: Experience in University research or Company R&D Department, with a strong background in B2B sales in industrial, chemical, or academic environments.
- Language Skills: Good level of English and proficiency in main Windows Office programs.
- Entrepreneurial Attitude: Proactive and entrepreneurial attitude, with a passion for driving sales growth.
- Location: Based in Lombardia or Emilia-Romagna.
