About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade Marketing Manager to join our team at Brown-Forman. As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive sales and revenue growth for our premium and super-premium brands across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth for our brands
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Commercial, to align on brand and channel activation strategies
  • Provide strategic input into situation analysis of consumer, trade, and business issues and opportunities across the portfolio
  • Optimize activities for all touchpoints in the on- and off-trade by analyzing competitor insights and building synergies across brands and channels
  • Act as a strong integrator between Sales & Marketing, driving cross-functional cooperation and leading integrated marketing plans development, implementation, and execution
  • Develop PICOS and channels segmentation, understanding and connecting the consumer vision and brand proposition for each brand in the portfolio with our customers and channel strategies
  • Support the Advocacy Manager in leading the Trade Advocacy agenda, coaching, and supervising Brand Ambassadors, ensuring the right tools and processes for our brands' growth in the on-trade channel
  • Lead, inspire, and empower the B-F Italia Trade Marketing team, consisting of direct reports and Brand Ambassadors, building trade marketing capabilities and developing bench strength to fuel Brown-Forman with ready talent

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable commercial experience (marketing, sales, or trade marketing) of which at least 2 years to include people management responsibilities
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering brand & channel growth in a highly competitive environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external contacts and with diverse cultures
  • Fluent Italian & English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to travel extensively up to 30% of the time
