Production Planner Job Description

At Blm Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Production Planning Office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient production of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage production orders to meet quality and punctuality standards.
  • Monitor production progress to optimize capacities and meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to delivering exceptional customer service by working closely with the production team and corporate functions.
Key Activities:
  • Generate production orders and reserve production capacity.
  • Manage production order data, including personal data, production cycles, and bills of materials.
  • Prepare and follow up on overall order execution plans.
  • Control inventory and procure raw materials necessary for production in collaboration with the Purchasing area.
  • Monitor production progress and develop alternative programs to respond to emergencies and optimize production capacities.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in management, preferably in industrial engineering, production process engineering, or management engineering.
  • Strong curiosity and interest in new management technologies, with a focus on Industry 4.0 and subsequent evolutions.
  • Familiarity with IT tools and strong relationship, listening, and communication skills.
  • Strong methodological orientation and organizational attitudes aimed at information circulation and time management.
  • Knowledge of the English language at level B1 or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work experience in industrial companies that design and build machines or industrial automation systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT tools and systems essential for modern production planning, such as ERP, MES, and automatic warehouse management software.
  • Direct experience in industrial companies that apply highly integrated ERP/MRP systems at the Group level.
