A dedicated Quality Control Engineer with expertise in quality assurance, possessing knowledge and experience in welding and fabrication, including the application of relevant EN and ASME standards and NDT methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalize Project Inspection Release Certificates, Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and associated inspection and testing procedures.
  • Evaluate and approve vendor manufacturing documentation (WPS/PQR/NDE/painting procedures/ITP, etc.).
  • Review Inspection and Test Records, including the approval of Final Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).
  • Coordinate with Zeeco headquarters regarding all manufacturing and quality control issues, providing inspection support for European suppliers as necessary.
  • Conduct dimensional, visual, NDE, and other inspections of equipment during production and upon completion.
  • Offer quality control assistance across all departments.
  • Support Project Managers as needed.
  • Ensure the achievement of the company's quality control objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize waste and enhance efficiency.
  • Adhere to company guidelines and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company QHSE Policy, actively fostering a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
  • Review fabrication drawings, develop Weld Procedures, and prepare Manufacturing, Engineering, and Testing Procedures.

Candidate Profile:

  • A relevant degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Structural Steel and pipework fabrication, CE Marking, Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU), and ISO 3834.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office Visio.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to implement innovative processes.
  • Experience in a QC Engineering role within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment or a similar field, along with a relevant formal qualification is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CSWIP 3.1, PCN level II DPE, MPI, and Radiographic interpretation are desirable.
  • Knowledge of BSI and ASME construction, inspection, and welding codes and standards.
  • European Welding Engineer certification is a plus.
  • A strong team player.
  • Resourceful, organized, dependable, efficient, and detail-oriented.
  • Confident and assertive with the ability to make independent decisions.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
