About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our EU Fashion team at Amazon EU SARL (Italy Branch). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and executing a Supply Chain Roadmap for several of our most loved brands in Fashion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Supply Chain strategy to maximize product availability and executional excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Programs managers and Brand Specialists, to drive operational process improvements for vendors.
  • Analyze production and delivery lead-times, and operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations and fulfillment, efficient receive process and inventory placement.
  • Lead and influence internal stakeholders and vendors in an ambiguous environment, while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.
About the Team

This position is office-based, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon's current flexible work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements.

Requirements
  • Several years of supply chain, inventory management and/or project management experience.
  • Experience in working with computer databases and complex data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leading process improvement with a help of techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Experience in building and managing partnerships with vendors and/or external customers up to an executive level.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in languages including German, Spanish, Italian or French will be beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance or Supply Chain.
  • Consulting background in one of areas: supply chain, inventory management, partner management.
  • Familiarity with statistics or other analytical techniques.
  • Excellent business judgment, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
