Job Summary

Konecranes is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and extraordinary maintenance activities on our customers' facilities to ensure optimal functionality and operating conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks on our customers' fleet of Rubber Tyred Gantry, Mobile Harbour Cranes, and Reach Stackers;
  • Service and inspect equipment to ensure compliance with contractual agreements;
  • Participate in refurbishment and modernization projects to enhance equipment performance;
  • Conduct testing and certification procedures to ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong electromechanical, hydraulic, and electronic skills with ability to work independently;
  • Desirable experience working with main port equipment, including Mobile Harbour Cranes, Rubber Tyred Gantry, and Reach Stackers;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues;
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures;
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments;
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends;
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel to customer sites;
  • Residence in North West Italy or Liguria preferred.
