The British School Group has been a pioneer in English language education in Italy since its inception in 1952. The group welcomes over 30,000 students annually from diverse backgrounds across its numerous branches.

The schools have received prestigious recognitions and accreditations, including official endorsements from Italian regional governments for language training and the Italian Ministry of Education's nod as a training provider for state school teachers.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring student learning progress, selecting teaching staff, and coordinating teacher performance to align with British School Group standards.

You will also serve as a substitute teacher, conduct pilot courses and individual lessons, provide targeted support to students, administer entry-level tests, and maintain communication with the Head Office and Directors of Studies.

We are looking for an experienced professional with good marketing awareness, administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to use both Italian and English languages effectively for public relations.

The ideal candidate will possess DELTA or equivalent studies/experience, teaching experience at all levels and age groups, familiarity with different syllabi and international exams, and ease of use of IWB, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  1. Monitor student learning progress to ensure alignment with course objectives and the British School Group Mission Statement.
  2. Select and assign teaching staff based on individual experience and abilities.
  3. Enhance teacher performance through classroom observations, attendance monitoring, level and staff meetings, workshops, and personal coaching.
  4. Provide substitute teaching services in cases of absence or illness.
  5. Conduct pilot courses and individual lessons personally.
  6. Offer targeted SOS support to students in need through specific make-up programs and Personalized Learning sessions (PLs).
  7. Administer all entry-level tests and support the secretarial team in the information, sale, and enrolment process.
  8. Maintain communication with the Head Office and Directors of Studies to continually improve the British School Group System.
