Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, service providers, and partners, including SaaS contracts, master service agreements, data processing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and service level agreements.
  • Providing practical advice and decision support on legal-related queries from operational teams across several countries, including C-Level, customer support, product, tech teams, and marketing.
  • Managing GDPR compliance projects with our Data Protection Officer (DPO).
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and good corporate governance.
  • Managing potential pre-litigation and litigation matters.
  • Helping to set up processes to structure the legal department and the business.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A generalist degree in business law and/or contract law.
  • At least 4 years of experience in similar missions, preferably as in-house counsel in an international company or within a law firm.
  • A strong capacity to adapt and a willingness to work on a broad/generalist scope with a business and operational perspective.
  • An excellent level of written and spoken English (most exchanges will be in English). Knowledge of German is a plus.
  • A strong appetite for new and complex legal and technological challenges.
  • Rigor, organization, management of priorities, and adaptation to a fast-changing environment.
  • A strong ability to work with other teams as a business partner.
