Procurement Solutions

Our Procurement Solutions business unit focuses on optimizing the supply chain through Intelligent Procurement, Smart Booking, and Invisible Payment. We strive for continuous improvement by analyzing both internal and external spending data related to hospitality activities. This data-driven approach allows us to craft tailored market strategies and deliver optimized hotel program recommendations that enhance traveler satisfaction while minimizing costs.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Milan-based Procurement Consulting Intern (all genders) to join our dynamic Procurement team. In this role, you will assist in managing strategic consulting initiatives for our global corporate clientele. Your contributions will help clients develop and implement effective travel procurement strategies, optimize their hotel expenditures, and ensure a seamless travel experience for their employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee client hotel programs, including strategy formulation, procurement processes, and ongoing program management.
  • Analyze client data alongside extensive HRS global benchmark data to uncover opportunities for hotel spend optimization.
  • Coordinate sourcing projects with client team members and consultant peers across various regions.
  • Collaborate closely with our global procurement and sales teams.
Qualifications
  • Educational background in Business Management or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formula usage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A curious mindset with the ability to think creatively.
  • Innovative problem-solver.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
