**Accounting Manager Role at Prometeia**
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance & Administration department at Prometeia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring compliance with national and international accounting standards, and leading a team of 9 people.
Main Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements and consolidated financial statements in accordance with national accounting principles and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Accounting Closure Activities: Organize and control periodic accounting closure activities for the preparation of quarterly financial statements and support the Controlling team for the preparation of the Monthly Revenues Report.
- Administrative Activities: Supervise and coordinate all administrative activities of the Group, including active invoicing process, monitoring of collections, and analysis of overdue payments, purchase cycle process, intercompany reconciliations, compliance with accounting, administrative, corporate, and tax requirements, and support to the Foreign Office team for the supervision of the accounting of foreign branches.
- Accounting Entries: Process accounting entries related to complex and/or extraordinary transactions.
- Accounting Standards: Verify, apply, and implement new national and/or international accounting standards applicable to the Group's Companies.
- Accounting Procedures: Update and continuously improve accounting procedures.
- Team Management: Manage and coordinate a team of 9 people.
- Experience: Previous experience of at least 10 years in the same role within structured companies.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and accounting systems.
- Leadership: Excellent ability to manage people and time.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to cooperate with diverse company departments.
- Continuous Improvement: Willingness to bring continuous improvement of the company culture and interest in digital innovation of the company processes.
- Flexibility: Flexibility and problem-solving.
- Language: Good English level (at least B1).
