Demand and Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a Demand and Delivery Specialist to join our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team at Edison. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects and interventions in the commercial area, ensuring the governance of activities on applications involved in end-to-end system processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICT and experience in managing projects and teams. They will be responsible for:

  • Managing projects and interventions in the commercial area, ensuring the governance of activities on applications involved in end-to-end system processes.
  • Managing the main applications of the Credit function for development and normative adaptation, including SAP IS-U FI-CA, document composition systems, postalization and archiving systems, and collaboration with other ICT and Business functions related to finance and treasury.
  • Collecting requirements for the realization of functionalities and process evolution on commercial retail application systems.
  • Transforming business requirements into technical requirements for the management of system evolution.
  • Interfacing with suppliers for the development of new projects and interventions, focusing on the application aspects of systems.
  • Valuing technical and economic solutions proposed by suppliers.
  • Developing multi-system projects and optimizing the systems of the Function, with the goal of integrating all commercial retail applications effectively.
  • Interfacing with various company departments involved (Demand, Infrastructure, Architecture, Business Units).
  • Conducting project meetings to track progress and collect requirements.
  • Developing skills in presenting and exposing projects developed with the team.
  • Managing and monitoring suppliers in the project design and application development phases.
  • Managing and monitoring the activities of testing and passing interventions to production, supporting users in executing functional tests (coordinating suppliers, defining downtime windows, etc.).
  • Verifying the advancement of corrective activities in coordination with the ICT Operations area and evaluating the quality of proposed structural interventions.

The successful candidate will be able to interface with various company functions and departments, as well as with external suppliers. They will be responsible for delivering technological solutions and coordinating external suppliers in all phases of analysis, estimation, and planning of interventions, testing, deployment, and post-deployment.

Previous experience (5-6 years minimum) in medium to large companies in the sector or in System Integration companies will be a preferred title. A degree in technical or scientific disciplines, with a preference for engineering or computer science, is required. The ideal candidate will also have the following soft skills:

The job will be based in Milan, Foro Buonaparte.
