About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at adidas. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional consumer experiences and driving store profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Consumer Experiences: Ensure outstanding execution of global brand and retail operational standards to create a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers.
  • Foster a Positive Culture: Support the Senior Manager in creating a consumer-centered, authentic, and active culture in the store, and promote a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations and holding employees accountable.
  • Drive Store Profitability: Meet or exceed store sales and profit targets, and support the management of all resources within the designated area to provide consumers with a leading shopping experience.
  • Lead and Develop the Team: Support the Senior Manager in hiring, developing, and building high-performing employees, and provide coaching and feedback to associates to drive sales and meet key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with Global and Market Teams: Work closely with the global and market retail teams to achieve the Brand Center ambition, and provide regular input to the Senior Manager to allow for feedback to different departments and global teams.
Requirements
  • Strong Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of financial data and ability to make informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and comfortable with working in a matrix organization.
  • Brand Passion and Knowledge: Passion for the adidas brand and a strong understanding of the retail industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other computer software (Internet, POS Systems, etc).
