Job Title: Value Stream Leader - Manufacturing Excellence

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Value Stream Leader to join our team in Lugagnano Val d'Arda, Italy. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading the activities and personnel in the assigned Value Stream to achieve a safe, efficient, productive, and economical manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the ETO Value Stream Manager and Operations Manager to create and fulfill monthly and quarterly production schedules and targets for all departments.
  • Ensure manufacturing efficiency, addressing issues and needs, and work closely with different functions from quote to cash as a point of contact for C-Ball Value Stream.
  • Carry out monthly production plans and corrective actions according to Operations Manager directions.
  • Coordinate Assembling & Lapping activities, supporting Supervisor in defining the Production Plan, establishing work assignments, and machining workload.
  • Coordinate Testing activities, ensuring compliance with policies and on-time delivery.
  • Audit compliance to process control plans and implement countermeasures as required.
  • Provide input for the selection and maintenance of appropriate manufacturing equipment to ensure the most cost-efficient solution within company budget guidelines.
  • Supervise the efficiency of different working centers, suggesting improvements in agreement with the ETO VS Manager.
  • Develop profit improvement programs across the plant in collaboration with the Lean Leader.
  • Partner with Production Control to oversee Production work progress status.
  • Promptly provide Operations & ETO VS Manager with all information relating to production progress.
  • Promote and ensure a safety culture.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Operations.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Previous experience in manufacture-to-order industry.
  • Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and assembly operations and knowledge of steel production process.
  • Technical skills to understand process & product specifications.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and preferably MRP system.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience, knowledge, or trained in Six Sigma Lean Methodologies manufacturing.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
