At Italian Itinerary, we're seeking a highly motivated digital marketing specialist to join our team. With a strong focus on creating bespoke Italian experiences, we're looking for someone who can help us expand our reach in the Northern US market.

About Us

We're an exclusive travel design consultancy based in Italy, specializing in custom Italian journeys. Our goal is to provide authentic and unique experiences for our clients, tailored to their specific needs and preferences.

This internship is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in digital marketing and social media to gain hands-on experience in the tourism sector. As a digital marketing specialist, you will be responsible for researching the current market, identifying competitors, and targeting potential new North American clients and partners.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough research on new and existing markets, including competitors
  • Building a comprehensive database of information gathered using Excel
  • Developing and implementing engagement strategies for our Facebook page, including updating our 'How to Use Facebook for Business' guide
  • Creating and scheduling posts on Instagram, including updates to our 'How to Instagram for Business' guide
  • Utilizing Hootsuite or other social media management tools to schedule posts
  • Assisting in the development of marketing materials for this market, as well as reviewing and generating new e-marketing ideas
  • Drafting and writing promotional content for social media and our website

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Motivation, autonomy, and a proactive approach
  • Excellent work ethic and organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail
  • Interest in marketing, promotions, social media, and developing technologies
  • Advanced experience with all Office programs

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain university credits and develop your skills in digital marketing and social media. We're looking for someone who is available to commit at least 15 hours per week for a minimum of 4 months.
