As an Assistant Front Office Manager with Italian Hospitality Collection, you will play a vital role in delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests. You will support the Front Office Manager in managing all aspects of the front office, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in our prestigious hotel, Anglo American, Curio Collection by Hilton Florence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day staffing needs, plan and assign work to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to improve team member performance and drive excellence.
  • Educate and train team members in compliance with national and local laws and safety regulations.
  • Ensure staff is properly trained and equipped to carry out job duties.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service, professional attention, and personal recognition to create lasting memories.
  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback, and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the front office and public areas, taking immediate action to correct any deficiencies.
  • Develop plans to increase occupancy and ADR through walk-ins and upselling at the front desk.
  • Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner.

Requirements:

  • Preferred working experience with similar roles in International Luxury Hotel Brands.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Management or Business Administration.
  • 1 year of Front Office/Guest Service experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Accounting and mathematics skills for accurate auditing and payment processing.
  • Knowledge of OnQ PMS and problem-solving skills for effective interactions with guests and staff.
  • Customer service experience and knowledge of hotel operations, offers, and the local area.
  • Fluency in English and Italian languages, with other languages preferred.
  • Ambassador for loyalty program and Gentlemen Leader with emotional intelligence skills.
  • Passion for the hospitality field and excellence in luxury service.
  • Flexibility and dedication to creating memorable experiences for our guests.
