The role involves delivering exceptional customer service while installing and maintaining diagnostic instruments and systems in various laboratory settings.
This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from home. At Beckman Coulter, we are dedicated to reimagining healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
Key Responsibilities:
- **System Installation:** Implement and configure Laboratory Automation systems tailored to customer specifications, collaborating with the LIS and Middleware Team.
- **User Training:** Conduct on-site training sessions to educate customers about the product portfolio, particularly during the project startup phase.
- **Remote Assistance:** Provide troubleshooting support for customer issues, adhering to internal protocols, and escalate to second-level support when necessary.
- **Field Team Support:** Assist Field Service Engineers (FSE) and Field Application Specialists (FAS) in maintaining, installing, and validating laboratory systems, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- **Critical Thinking:** Employ analytical skills to determine rapid solutions for instrument repairs.
- **Knowledge Sharing:** Facilitate the growth of technical expertise among Field Service Engineers by managing the flow of information between European teams and local staff.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with Sales, Application, and Tender Departments to enhance customer solutions and processes.
- **Project Management:** Develop project management skills within the context of installation projects.
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in a technical field (biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or related) or equivalent experience of 2 to 3 years.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and travel up to 80% for service provision across the country and occasionally to other European nations.
- Proficiency in both Italian and English, capable of conducting training and participating in discussions and international meetings.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in problem-solving and the ability to proactively identify solutions.
- Solid IT knowledge, including network, server, firewall, and interface management.
- A critical mindset supported by Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.
