The Technical Manager is a critical role within InterSystems, responsible for the successful delivery of implementation projects. This position requires a senior technical leader who can provide guidance and oversight to technical implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee technical input to proposals during initial customer engagements.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of implementation projects.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to staff at all levels.
- Work collaboratively with Implementation Program Management, Product Management, and Development Teams.
- Manage and plan future resource requirements.
- Escalate customer and partner issues and work to resolve them quickly.
- Communicate with clients and sales staff to identify business needs and input into proposals.
- Participate in client and InterSystems Steering Committee meetings.
- Provide technical advice and best practices to clients.
- Produce collateral such as white papers or case studies.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise software development, design, and delivery.
- Strong technical competence across a broad range of technology components.
- Previous experience dealing with complex application deployments.
- Experience managing technical staff at all levels.
- Extensive customer-facing experience in both pre- and post-sale contexts.
- Self-starter qualities to rapidly come up to speed with InterSystems products.
- Familiarity with Project and Program delivery.
- Experience working with InterSystems technologies is desirable.
- Fluent English and Italian.
