Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in engineering projects, collaborating with our Infrastructure and Structural divisions on various assignments.
  • Oversee and report on subsurface investigations.
  • Draft specifications and technical reports.
  • Design foundations, retaining walls, underground facilities, slope stability assessments, and earthworks for diverse construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Effectively communicate design concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in geotechnical engineering, contributing to research initiatives in partnership with Arup Skills Networks and academic institutions.
  • Present information clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • Engage with the global Arup Ground Engineering Network.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership in a relevant professional organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for collaborative work.
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as 3D modeling, scripting, or GIS is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Demonstrated motivation, initiative, and readiness to embrace new challenges.
