About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Underwriter to join our team at Tn Italy. As a Medical Underwriter, you will play a critical role in assessing and managing individual medical and financial risks for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise and support in the assessment and management of individual medical and financial risks
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement underwriting procedures and guidelines
  • Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to explain underwriting decisions and provide guidance on risk management
  • Contribute to the development of new products and benefits, incorporating financial and medical underwriting perspectives
  • Stay up-to-date with current medical topics, economic trends, and business environment to ensure accurate risk assessment
  • Develop and deliver training programs for clients on medical and financial underwriting
  • Support clients during the onboarding process and promote the use of underwriting tools
  • Collaborate with the actuarial department to monitor sports professional athletes and provide input on risk management strategies
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in the insurance sector, with a focus on life reinsurance
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of medical and financial underwriting principles and practices
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks, and provide input on solutions
  • International mindset and ability to adapt to different cultures and practices
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad for client meetings and internal/external meetings
