Position Overview

MotorK is on the lookout for a seasoned and dynamic Team Leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a focus on collaborative opportunities with a results-oriented mindset, and an understanding that successful execution is crucial for any technical solution.

We are committed to a data-driven approach, measuring all aspects that provide insights for continuous improvement. Our methodology incorporates Lean principles, utilizing Kanban for workflow representation and Scrum as our agile framework.

Key Qualifications

  • Substantial hands-on experience in Software Engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Lean practices such as Kanban/Kaizen
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset
  • Experience in environments that foster a DevOps culture, Continuous Integration, and Delivery
  • Proven track record in people management, emphasizing talent development and performance feedback
  • Ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams
  • Commercial experience with PHP frameworks like Symfony and Laravel; familiarity with NodeJS and Vue.JS is advantageous
  • Strong Software Engineering expertise and design capabilities, well-versed in best practices and principles
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Engage in the design and specification of new architectures, features, and solutions
  • Drive quality output from teams while maintaining a strong focus on delivery
  • Provide management with reports and insights; plan and monitor project progress using Agile metrics and estimations
  • Foster relationships between technical teams and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and communication
  • Oversee team productivity, striving to uphold and enhance our engineering principles and practices
  • Manage career development plans for team members
  • Support recruitment and talent development initiatives
  • Retain top talent and key knowledge holders
