About the Role

The Site Engineering Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of production equipment, particularly the cyclotron, transfer system, synthesis modules, and dispensing robot. This position requires a deep understanding of equipment performance and trending, as well as the ability to perform preventive and corrective interventions to achieve the best possible production outcome.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the best performance and reliability of production equipment, including the cyclotron, transfer system, synthesis modules, and dispensing robot.
  • Exchange daily with the Country Engineering Manager, Site Manager, and production team on the results of night production and report any difficulties or out-of-trending issues to Engineering & Service.
  • Plan and perform maintenance based on system parameters trending, equipment usage, calendar-based schedules, or in response to failures, and manage the order and storage of required spare parts.
  • Manage on-call availability, working time, radioactive dose exposure, stress, and substitution in case of absence, as well as resources needed for missions.
  • Alert the Country Engineering Manager of Italy and other responsible parties when experiencing difficulties.
  • Participate in offered trainings, including initial theoretical training, practical training, and annual refresher training, and engage in self-study to stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and skills.
  • Provide safety and technical training to Pharmacists, Maintenance Assistants, and Production Technicians.
  • Contribute to budget planning, execute confirmed budgets, and report periodically, alerting the Country Engineering Manager of Italy if budget extensions or adjustments are necessary.
  • Take responsibility for Engineering and Service coordination tasks assigned, respect agreed timelines, and alert the Country Engineering Manager of Italy if potential risks arise.
Requirements
  • Engineering or Scientific Degree
  • Minimum experience in an Engineering department
  • Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Fluent in English and Italian
