About the Role

Agilent is a global leader in laboratory and clinical technologies, and we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to join our team in Central Italy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our Agilent Chemistries & Supplies consumables portfolio, including our GC & HPLC columns, sample preparation solutions, and laboratory equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities

Generate existing and/or new sales across different accounts and industries on your designated territory
Develop accounts and maintain positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers
Act to understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries to create business opportunities
Promote and sell products and/or solutions to current or new customers and inform them of new product introductions
Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans
Determine and develop approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/strategies
Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions and organizations

About You

We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in sales to laboratories and good knowledge of laboratory workflows. You should have a good understanding of analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectrometry, and/or spectroscopy. Proficiency in Italian and at least a good level of English is required. You should be autonomous, outgoing, and customer-focused, with excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills to interact with external and internal partners. You should also have a can-do attitude, resilience, and a willingness to help others. While being flexible and adaptable, you should have strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
