Job Opportunity at Fincantieri NexTech

Fincantieri NexTech is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our international team and play a key role in the development and implementation of our DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and automate infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.
  • Work with security teams to implement security best practices in the DevOps process.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in DevOps and cloud computing technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with product management tools and methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Jira, Confluence).
  • Professional English.
