Hotel Operations Manager

The AC Hotel Milan Sesto by Marriott is seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all hotel departments, including Sales and Marketing, Food and Beverage, Front Office, Revenue and Reservation, Human Resources, and Administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of all hotel departments to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall profitability.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving in operations.
- Guide and develop the leaders in individual departments to ensure compliance with local laws, health and safety regulations, and brand standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all guest-facing departments deliver excellent service and handle special requests efficiently.
- Work closely with the HR department to recruit, train, and develop staff across all operational areas.
- Assist the General Manager in budget preparation and ensure cost-effective operational strategies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team morale and productivity.
- Monitor departmental budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Ensure that all departments comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Oversee the implementation of security protocols to ensure guest and employee safety.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
- Assist in planning and executing special events, conferences, and meetings to ensure smooth operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven experience managing multiple departments in a hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in hotel management software Opera.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
