Hotel Operations Manager

The AC Hotel Milan Sesto by Marriott is seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of all hotel departments, including Sales and Marketing, F&B, FO, Revenue and Reservation, HR, and Administration.
  • Ensure all operational departments adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall profitability.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving in operations.
  • Guide and develop the leaders in individual departments.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, health and safety regulations, and brand standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all guest-facing departments deliver excellent service and handle special requests efficiently.
  • Work closely with the HR department to recruit, train, and develop staff across all operational areas.
  • Assist the General Manager in budget preparation and ensure cost-effective operational strategies.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team morale and productivity.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Ensure that all departments comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of security protocols to ensure guest and employee safety.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, conferences, and meetings to ensure smooth operations.
  • Report regularly to the General Manager on operational performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication between departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple departments in a hotel setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software Opera.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Contract Type: Full-time

Additional Compensation: 14th month

Experience: Hotel managing: 2 years (Required)
