About the Role

As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our operational sites and ensuring that our associates have a great employee experience. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day HR administration, working closely with HR leaders and management on HR-focused projects, and planning initiatives to promote the well-being and experience of on-site staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR administration, including procedures for new staff, self-service tools, and attendance reviews.
  • Work closely with HR leaders and management on HR-focused projects to create an engaging working environment.
  • Plan initiatives to promote the well-being and experience of on-site staff.
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance with business processes, data protection, local labour regulations, and human resources procedures.

Requirements

  • Education and/or experience in HR administration.
  • Effective communications skills, including presentation skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible to travel, with a focus on two locations.
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written Italian language, with a good command of English (Common European Framework of Reference B1).
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to identify problems and root causes, work with numbers, data, run metrics, and pull reports.
  • Confidentiality and composure when dealing with sensitive data and confidential information.
  • Able to work independently and autonomously, as well as productively in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of local employment law, employee relations practices, and Payroll.
  • Experience managing HR information systems for data entry and time and attendance monitoring.
  • Experience dealing with an operational workforce in a similar industry or in factory sites.
