About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Solution Architect to join our team at Capgemini Engineering, a world leader in engineering and R&D services. This is a unique opportunity to drive digital convergence across various industries, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engineering software solutions for clients across sectors including Aeronautics, Space, Defense, Naval, Automotive, Rail, Infrastructure & Transportation, Energy, Utilities & Chemicals, Life Sciences, Communications, Semiconductor & Electronics, Industrial & Consumer, Software & Internet.
  • Analyze market trends and technological landscapes to evolve the offering and propose new trends and high-end technologies.
  • Support pre-sales teams to manage technical solutions for RFQs and qualify prospection meetings to present and position the offer portfolio throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Define sales pipelines and go-to-market planning, working actively in leading and deploying strategic projects.
  • Monitor and propose improvement plans to meet project financial targets.

Requirements:

  • A higher education degree in software engineering with practical experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering, with client-facing experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or presales engineering roles.
  • Proven experiences and extended networking in one of the following markets: Railway, Life Science, Aerospace & Defense.
  • Experience handling different client organizations, business lines, and environments.
  • Outstanding communication and networking skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative.
  • Experience working in international contexts.
  • Understanding of project planning and budgeting.
  • Leading complex engagements from pre-sales to project awarding.
  • Knowledge of distributed software solutions and latest generation technologies on full-stack embedded software development.
  • Ability in managing project financial KPIs and targets.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
