Overview:
The Demand Planning division at SC Johnson plays a crucial role in crafting accurate demand forecasts. As a Demand Planning Intern, your primary responsibility will be to analyze various data inputs, including sales forecasts related to promotions, distribution patterns, shipment histories, competitor strategies, and marketing initiatives. You will facilitate the Pre-demand and Demand Reviews, ensuring a streamlined and unbiased consensus-driven process within the S&OP framework.
This internship presents an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates in Supply Chain who are eager to embark on a career in an international context.

About the Team:
As an intern, you will collaborate closely with the Demand Planning Team.
Key Responsibilities:
You will assist the Demand Planning Team in various tasks to gain insights into how to:
- Gather and evaluate historical and projected demand data, including factors such as distribution changes, pricing adjustments, product lifecycle events, and promotional strategies, to assess their impact on demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives like product launches and phase-outs, analyzing assumptions pre and post-launch regarding new product forecasts and market dynamics.
- Track, assess, and report on essential process metrics while ensuring compliance with key performance indicators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Engage with supply chain partners to comprehend current supply limitations and their implications on demand planning.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of an undergraduate degree, ideally in economics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related business discipline.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in both Italian and English.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent communication abilities, with a proven track record of articulating key concepts to stakeholders across various organizational levels.
- Capability to drive initiatives and influence decision-making throughout the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to thrive in high-performing teams within collaborative environments.
- Competence in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis, linking business process metrics to organizational KPIs.
