Position Overview

The role involves comprehensive engagement with project documentation and customer requirements concerning installation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare the Work Plan related to installation tasks, ensuring the necessary information is provided to planners for the overall Project of Work (POW).
  • Engage in negotiations and clarification discussions with clients following proposal presentations as needed.
  • Revise the tender package as required due to negotiations or changes in client requests.
  • Adhere to internal protocols and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

During the contractual phase, the following activities are essential:

  • Participate in internal Kick-Off Meetings.
  • Communicate relevant information to the project team and departments involved in execution, including costs, qualifications, assumptions, technical documentation, and other pertinent details.
  • Attend internal clarification meetings with relevant departments.
  • Engage in discussions with clients and/or subcontractors.
  • Provide technical support to relevant departments.
  • Involve deeply in detailed engineering aspects aimed at construction.
  • Evaluate potential changes from the tender stage regarding technical solutions, contractual matters, risks, cost variations, and compile Lessons Learned for future tendering processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Curious and motivated to learn quickly and enhance autonomy.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and focused on problem-solving and achieving targets.
  • Able to distill complex information into clear frameworks.
  • Pragmatic and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Flexible and capable of managing changes throughout the work process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capabilities.
  • Familiarity with essential software such as Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and general web usage.
  • Willingness to undertake short but potentially frequent travel, both domestically and internationally.
  • For experienced candidates, at least one of the added-value requirements listed below should be met.

Possible Added-Value Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role and field.
  • Knowledge of or experience in land cable installation and/or civil engineering from operational or engineering perspectives.
  • Experience in proposal engineering tasks such as costing, planning, subcontracting, and technical proposal preparation, preferably related to land installation or other relevant areas.
