Internship Overview

As a Legal Intern, you will be integrated into the Italian Legal Department, collaborating with a team of four legal professionals. This internship offers a comprehensive 6-month paid experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing claims, enforcement actions, and inquiries from regulatory bodies;
  • Support the governance of WL Group companies in Italy, including preparation of meeting notices, minutes, and related documentation;
  • Contribute to extraordinary corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and business unit contributions;
  • Conduct legal research to draft opinions and provide insights on corporate law matters;
  • Assist various internal departments with corporate law inquiries;
  • Provide ongoing support for legal issues;
  • Collaborate in the review and update of internal policies;
  • Research relevant legislation and case law;
  • Assist the legal team with straightforward legal documentation.

Candidate Profile

We seek individuals who are innovative thinkers, eager to drive meaningful change. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A Law degree with top honors;
  • A dissertation focused on Banking, Fintech, or IT topics is advantageous;
  • Fluency in English; certification is a plus;
  • Prior internship experience in banking, finance, or IT sectors is beneficial;
  • Proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
