About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced software engineer to join our close-knit engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our founders, product managers, and designers to build a cutting-edge accounting and finance software. This role reports directly to our CTO and offers remote work opportunities with occasional travel for team events.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of our technical infrastructure and software stack
  • Help shape our technical direction and vision for the future
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and finance experts to define and deliver our product
  • Participate in customer research interviews to understand the impact of our product
  • Implement continuous delivery practices to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Apply test-driven development and automation to ensure software reliability
  • Maintain our software's performance and stability in production

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in one of Kotlin, Java, or Typescript
  • Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g. Svelte.js, React, Vue)
  • Comfortable with both object-oriented and functional programming approaches
  • Familiarity with Docker and AWS
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team
  • Passion for finding practical solutions to real user problems without compromising quality
  • Desire to learn and share expertise with others
