Join Our Team as a Field Service Engineer in Italy

Cytiva is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the life sciences industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, qualifying, and maintaining our equipment at customer sites. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, as well as promoting service contracts and identifying opportunities to improve our services.

This is a remote position, and you will be working independently to manage your own stock and work orders. You will also have the opportunity to participate in sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be proficient in English and have a strong understanding of our equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, qualify, and maintain equipment at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Promote service contracts and identify opportunities to improve services
  • Manage own stock and work orders
  • Participate in sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs

Requirements:

  • Strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Strong understanding of our equipment and services
  • Ability to travel 70% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the biopharma or biotechnology industry
  • Knowledge of computers, networks, and databases
