Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned HR executive to lead our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) across the EMEA region. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the EMEA Executive HR Director and act as a catalyst for transformation within the organization, overseeing the execution and effectiveness of HR initiatives tailored for ISG in EMEA. You will embody and promote Lenovo's core values and operational ethos.
As a key contributor at this level, you will be recognized as a subject matter expert in human resources, tasked with the design and implementation of HR strategies while ensuring operational excellence. Success in this role requires experience in navigating complex organizational structures, a strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership. You will work closely with the EMEA ISG Vice President and be an integral part of the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management at both EMEA and country levels to align organizational and talent strategies with business goals.
- Cultivate trusted relationships with key stakeholders and leaders throughout the organization, both within and outside of ISG.
- Facilitate the execution of business strategies through strong partnerships with leadership.
- Proactively address HR challenges and implement strategic plans to prioritize HR initiatives for the business.
- Lead change efforts and support Lenovo's organizational and cultural evolution alongside your business counterparts.
- Mentor managers in effectively managing employee relations, while inspiring and developing one direct report.
- Exhibit pragmatism and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions with business leaders.
- Leverage your expertise in HR to influence key areas such as change management, organizational design, employee engagement, and talent analytics.
- Assist managers in executing their people strategies related to recruitment, training, succession planning, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with HR functions across 38+ countries through local HR teams, requiring a high degree of cultural sensitivity.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior HR management role (experience in sales organizations is a plus).
- Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and effectively communicate business strategies at various levels.
- Comprehensive understanding of the diverse responsibilities associated with HR business partnership, change management, employee relations, learning and development, and compensation.
- Experience in coaching mid-career and senior managers through complex business and employee-related challenges.
- Demonstrated expertise in change management focused on cultural shifts, leadership development, and organizational needs.
- Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving capabilities.
