Drive Profitable Growth in A&H Insurance

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a deep understanding of A&H underwriting principles and be able to analyze complex financial statements to identify potential risks. They will work closely with brokers to communicate risk appetite and value proposition, and negotiate pricing, terms & conditions, and deal structure with brokers and clients. Additionally, they will be responsible for generating new business by expanding their broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite a range of new and renewal business in A&H insurance
  • Analyze financial statements to identify potential risks
  • Communicate risk appetite and value proposition to brokers
  • Negotiate pricing, terms & conditions, and deal structure with brokers and clients
  • Generate new business by expanding broker network, attending events, and building relationships

Requirements:

  • Proven underwriting experience in A&H insurance
  • Good knowledge of A&H underwriting principles
  • Ability to analyze financial statements
  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship building skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
