Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative R&D Specialist to join our team at Permobil. As a key member of our research and development team, you will contribute to the design, testing, and improvement of our wheelchair products.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development
- Assist in the design, prototyping, and testing of new wheelchair models, focusing on improving functionality, comfort, and usability.
- Research
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and materials that can be applied to our products, staying ahead of industry trends.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that products meet all necessary specifications and standards.
- Documentation
- Prepare reports and documentation of design processes, test results, and product specifications.
- Innovation
- Generate new ideas for product features and enhancements.
- User-Centered Design
- Engage with end-users and gather feedback to inform the design and development process, ensuring our products meet their needs and expectations.
- Compliance
- Ensure that all product designs comply with relevant safety and accessibility standards.
Requirements
- Degree in a related field or relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- A passion for making a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Italian; knowledge of English is a plus.
