Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, prototype, and test new wheelchair models to improve functionality, comfort, and usability.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and materials to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet all necessary specifications and standards.
  • Prepare reports and documentation of design processes, test results, and product specifications.
  • Generate new ideas for product features and enhancements.
  • Engage with end-users to gather feedback and inform the design and development process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety and accessibility standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a related field or relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities.
  • Proficiency in Italian; knowledge of English is a plus.
