Job Overview

BCS Automotive Interface Solutions presents a unique opportunity to engage with a well-established automotive supplier that has been operational for nearly 70 years and employs a diverse workforce of 3,500 globally. As an independent entity, we offer an exciting environment that thrives on the dynamic nature of the automotive sector.

Your Responsibilities as a Warranty Engineer:

  • Oversee the complete warranty claims process, which includes gathering warranty-related information, coordinating parts returns, performing analyses based on customer specifications, and engaging in customer meetings to deliver warranty reports.
  • Be prepared for international travel, dedicating 30% to 50% of your working time (1-2 weeks per month) to this purpose.
  • Actively engage in the warranty escalation process initiated by clients, prepare claims analyses, and manage the de-escalation efforts.
  • Assist in collecting data from clients and customer portals for warranty reporting.
  • Upload necessary information to customer portals in the specified formats.
  • Conduct statistical analyses of warranty data and predict trends.
  • Review customer warranty contracts.
  • Investigate claimed parts and ensure compliance with 8D report requirements.

Your Responsibilities as a Customer Quality Engineer:

  • Ensure the ongoing development and updating of the system for managing product quality data, providing regular summaries to all relevant functions.
  • Manage customer complaints by communicating issues within the team, promoting root cause analysis, and defining corrective actions to be implemented and tested in the field.
  • Deliver well-reasoned responses to customers through comprehensive reports.
  • Verify and ensure the implementation and updating of action plans in response to complaints, customer visits, audits, etc.
  • Conduct qualitative checks on materials during various process stages, collaborating with quality inspectors to maintain customer requirements.
  • Generate and present statistical data on the costs associated with non-external quality (PPM, IP/E, select costs, claims statistics, etc.).
  • Support Plant Quality in establishing controls for the production of finished goods, semi-finished products, and materials.
  • Manage customer PPAP during projects, preparing specific PPAP documentation according to each client's requirements, utilizing portals.
  • Coordinate customer visits and audits (system audit, VDA audit, IATF audit), ensuring the implementation and updating of action plans in response.
  • Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives through projects aimed at enhancing corporate metrics in line with guidelines and corporate standards.

Your Qualifications:

  • A Technical University Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
