About the Role- Lead the commercial agenda for the North West area, engaging and motivating a team of sales professionals to drive business growth in line with the Company's objectives and channel strategy.
- Recruit, engage, and inspire a team of talented sales professionals to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive performance in the assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
- Set clear performance goals for the team, conduct regular performance reviews, and support team development.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to the Head of Trade and Head of Sales.
- Manage the sales budget for the area, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company commercial policies and industry regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the spirits industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Area Manager experience is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering sales growth in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with direct and indirect customers.
- In-depth knowledge of the spirits market and customer base.
