About the Role
  • Lead the commercial agenda for the North West area, engaging and motivating a team of sales professionals to drive business growth in line with the Company's objectives and channel strategy.
  • Recruit, engage, and inspire a team of talented sales professionals to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive performance in the assigned area.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Set clear performance goals for the team, conduct regular performance reviews, and support team development.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to the Head of Trade and Head of Sales.
  • Manage the sales budget for the area, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company commercial policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the spirits industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Area Manager experience is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering sales growth in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with direct and indirect customers.
  • In-depth knowledge of the spirits market and customer base.
