We are seeking a highly skilled Estimating Pipeline Engineer to join our engineering team in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and preparing cost estimates for pipeline projects, working closely with project managers, proposal managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
About the Job
The Estimating Pipeline Engineer is a critical role that involves analyzing project requirements, developing cost models, and providing technical support to project teams during the bidding process and/or design phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing cost estimates for pipeline projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses.
- Analyzing project requirements and specifications to determine the scope of work and project risks.
- Developing cost models and performing cost analysis.
- Providing technical support to project teams during the bidding process, including reviewing bid documents, preparing bid packages, and responding to bid inquiries.
- Providing technical support to project teams during the design phase, including bill of materials preparation, request for quotation preparation, and schedule.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
- Preparing and presenting cost estimates to management and clients, including detailed breakdowns of costs and assumptions.
- Collecting feedback from site, analyzing construction contracts and costs.

About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with the following qualifications:
Experience: No experience required.
Qualifications: Knowledge of main engineering principles. Degree with full marks in Civil, Building, Environmental, Mechanical, Management Engineering, Architecture or similar.
Languages: Italian mother tongue, English.
Main Skills: Teamwork, enthusiasm and proactivity, curiosity in dealing with new issues.
