Renewal Account Manager

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Renewal Account Manager to join our Clinical Effectiveness team in Italy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing and growing enterprise business in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and close new enterprise business opportunities in Italy, and hand over new clients to our Renewal and Customer Success team.
- Position the value proposition and sell our UpToDate Advanced and Lexicomp solutions to existing enterprise clients in hospitals and medical schools.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with multiple stakeholders within each account, including C-level decision makers and influencers.
- Arrange and conduct onsite demos, trials, and presentations to senior stakeholders.
- Define and implement Enterprise Major Account Plans to win key accounts in your territory.
- Work closely with marketing to follow up on qualified leads to close and generate new business opportunities.
- Keep accurate up-to-date records of all activities in our CRM tool.
- Ensure your pipeline is robust at all times to meet or exceed quarterly and annual cross-sell targets.
- Regularly review and update your pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting.
- Provide weekly forecasting, risk mitigation, closing gaps reporting to the Country Manager Italy.
Requirements:
- Degree in scientific or technological subjects.
- Proven enterprise sales experience and several years' experience selling complex services or solutions to C-level stakeholders in the public sector.
- Knowledge of the healthcare market or experience selling healthcare IT solutions is desirable.
- Knowledge and management of public purchasing procedures and policies, including tenders.
- Experience in conceptualizing and executing sales strategies to gain new customers.
- Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets in a business development role.
- Proven ability to communicate and build relationships at the right C-Level decision makers in enterprise customers.
- Good self-discipline to achieve expected output in a remote location working environment.
- Experience working closely with marketing to close marketing-qualified leads.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, as well as an excellent understanding of CRM tools.
- Fluency in Italian and English is a must.
- Willing and able to travel in-country and some international travel to company meetings and events.
