XL CATLIN, a leading provider of complex insurance solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Underwriting Assistant to join our P&C, Construction team. As a key member of our Middle Office team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional administrative services to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete policy lifecycle, from inception to renewal, ensuring seamless administrative processes and high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, finance, and claims teams to ensure accurate and timely policy issuance and management.
  • Communicate effectively with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve contractual situations and meet customer needs.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize policy administration processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in insurance policy administration, with a focus on P&C, Construction.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulatory systems, underwriting processes, and policy administration procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new systems and technologies.
