Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team as an Outside Sales Engineer in Emilia Romagna, Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling field instrumentation products and solutions to key customers in various industries, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power, Metal & Mining, and Pulp & Paper.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication and social skills, and the ability to work within a complex matrix organization. They will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty, and driving sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for all sales activities to meet or exceed the agreed bookings and strategic business objectives within the assigned territories.
- Actively promote and sell Field instrumentation offerings including products, solutions, and services.
- Negotiate with customers relevant business contracts within the agreed delegation of authority.
- Drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization (local and international).
- Oversee, ensure, and personally support the execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transactions.
Requirements
- Technical education or bachelor's engineering degree.
- At least 5 years of proven successful experience in technical sales roles within the process industry.
- Proficiency in Italian and English (verbal, reading, and writing) is required.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Residence in Emilia Romagna region is preferred.
